My favourite Hassan I Sabbah Fact is that there drummer (who was in Trap Them & Leningrad as well), is the current Madball drummer (joined in the 2010s I think). Not what you’d expect he’s doing nowadays lmao
empty This song was in a Smosh video 💀💀🥀 (Cat Soup) which I definitely watched as a lil kid back in ’07 or something but my friend @apairofblacklungs sent me the full album when we were a little older. It’s good stuff; makes me wonder if the Smosh guys were IRL friends with the band.

(I spent too much time on there my god) Screamo drummers in “big” bands seems to be a theme tho, see Saetia/Interpol (also s/o the for your health song) and forcefedglass/converge. Funnily enough i find the drums on Hassan I Sabbah to go way harder than forcefedglass, which is pretty much the opposite of what I’d expect considering what bands they play in now

Knee Deep in the Dead (who are not screamo but one of the best hxc bands imo) 2 months ago and it blew my mind lol. A The Swarm song also just happens to be the namesake of Absent From The Morning Headcount, who i posted earlier today
